Anne Osborn

Annie Osborn represents public housing authorities and private clients in litigation and pre-litigation matters, including by servicing as an informal hearing officer for PHAs. Ms. Osborn also provides advice and counsel to clients on employment issues as they arise.

Before joining Goldfarb & Lipman Ms. Osborn helped clients navigate complex employment disputes. As associate general counsel for a large corporation Ms. Osborn provided strategic counsel to human resources on workplace rights, including issues arising under the ADA, FMLA, and applicable wage orders. She defended the company against complaints investigated by the EEOC and California Civil Rights Department obtaining successful dismissals, and represented the company in mediations and administrative proceedings.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Osborn defended public and private sector clients against individual and class-action lawsuits, often negotiating favorable settlements at mediation. Ms. Osborn helped clients avoid costly litigation by conducting workplace investigations and drafting effective policies compliant with evolving California law.
