REAL ESTATE

The core of our law practice is California residential and commercial real estate law. Our experience covers a diversity of property types, including multifamily and single family residential, commercial, sports arenas, stadiums, entertainment complexes, offices, mixed-use developments, hotels, transit villages, cooperatives, mobile home parks, land trusts, condominiums, air rights parcels and other subdivisions.

We represent our clients in acquisitions, dispositions, conveyances, sale/leasebacks, general leasing and ground leasing transactions. Project activities include new development, rehabilitation, redevelopment to a new use, single site, and multi-parcel assembly.

The financing instruments involved in our work are equally varied and include bank financing, public agency loans, grants and guaranties, tax-exempt and taxable bond financing, redevelopment tax increment funds, tax credits and syndications, and equity investment financing. Our real estate work extends to obtaining land use entitlements, advising on environmental issues that arise in the course of a transaction, and forming and structuring ownership entities.
