When Goldfarb & Lipman began in 1971, one of our first clients was the Redevelopment Agency of a major California city, with the firm serving as its general counsel. Since then, serving California public agencies has remained one of our core practice areas.

Today, with law offices in the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles and San Diego, our public agency practice has grown to include scores of public agencies throughout California including cities, counties, redevelopment agencies, public housing authorities, joint powers authorities, and special districts. We serve as general counsel or special counsel to many public agencies.
